Mixing Brands on prams- Babyzen yoyo

Hi, this is my first post here! Has anyone tried using a different brand cot on a pram? I really like the Babyzen Yoyo for being light and nippy ( we have very steep hills!) but would like a Nuna mixx cot as it’s for overnight use, and has ventilation panels for hot weather. I can’t access a store where we’re living so am buying via the web. The Babyzen has car seat adaptors for the Nuna... so it seems hopeful, but can’t find mention online of anyone doing it

Generally car seat adapters aren't the same as the carrycot adapters (or they haven't been on any of the numerous prams I've owned)

Any pram I've used the carrycot slots straight into the frame, and the adaptors are used solely for the car seats. This is because pram frames are designed specifically for their own carrycots/pram seats, but as few produce their own car seats have to make adaptors to accommodate third party car seat products.

I would look at the iCandy Raspberry if I were you- it is very light and nippy but iirc all iCandy's carrycots are suitable for overnight sleeping.

Thanks for the iCandy Rasberry tip, definitely has potential! Though I still love just how compact the Babyzen Yoyo is/folds down to.

And I see what you’re saying re adaptors, I think from watching lots of videos again that you’re right, as the Nuna mixx uses a stand of some sort for car seat. That would have been a nice pram hack though!

Check out the new Hamilton and the new Bugaboo Ant. If I had another baby I’d buy one of those instead of the Babyzen - they’ve taken the Babyzen concept and improved on it.

Thank you for the Hamilton tip Feesh, it looks really interesting. Excellent weight limit, full recline, magnetic straps and mesh back for the summer...!
