Last minute christening idea

Hi,

Today we've been invited to an after christening party so not the actual ceremony just the bit after.
It's on Sunday so not a lot of notice but I'm not really sure what to get?

It'll be for a 4month old boy, not close to them so wouldn't want to get clothes really or anything big

You aren't going to the church? But are expected to buy a gift? If you really can be bothered then I'd just stick money in a card rather than faff about

A story book. Maybe one you liked from your childhood (or your children's early days, if you have them) with a little note inside. Perhaps a hardback / gift edition of the same if available.

A bible story book? I have a lovely lift the flaps book that they used to take to church when they were tiny, to keep themselves out of mischief
