Would you eat this chicken?

I’m always a bit nervous about cooking chicken. This one isn’t meant to be out of date until 25th September but has developed a greenish tinge. Would you bin it or use it?

Looks OK to me. Main thing is how it smells.

CatFaceCats · 20/09/2019 16:36

As above - if it’s off, you’ll smell it straight away.

Looks pretty normal to me too, just looks like the thicker areas of skin are more yellow, which is normal.

Is there a smell? If chicken is gone off it usually has a distinct smell and that's why I go by. Though a green tinge would probably put me off it.

Smells ok. It is more of a green tinge in person than the photos show. Will risk it as I hate wasting food. Thanks for the replies.

No green tinge that I can see .

Cook it well OP, should be fine.

It'll be fine. Just make sure it's thoroughly cooked.
