DD and I are going to IKEA today. Shes 18mo. I'd like to get her a table and chair and an armchair.

I'd also like to get her a role play kitchen. I see IKEA has a few. Anyone have one and is it any good?

Any other recommendations for things in IKEA that are good for keeping toddlers amused?

Their Junior chairs are great for that stage where they are growing out of the high chair but can't reach the table easily.

Play tunnel or tent keeps them amused for ages on wet days.

Rolls of drawing paper... They last AGES.

Toy storage... I preferred trofast, others like kallax.

Meatballs for lunch

Resist the cuddly toys

Kallax, roll of paper and the wall mount for it. Square plastic table and chairs, baskets for pens etc to go in. Canopy for bed

Definitely recommend the Duktig toy kitchen. My DC loved it. We bought it secondhand and it looked like new. Played with loads. Sold it for the same price several years later and it still looked like new! Recommend the accessories to go with it too, esp kitchen utensils, pans and plastic glasses.

Yes, to the rolls of drawing paper.

Also crocodile bath mat.

Box of chunky chalks
