DH casually mentioned over breakfast that he's been offered a job opportunity in Zurich. Nothing concrete but it's set my mind racing.
I'd lob the opportunity to live abroad- but have the issue of aging parents, particularly my father (who has cancer) and his mother ( who lives alone and Dh's brother lives in Australia). We don't seen our parents that often but I doubt that my father would ever come and see us.
There is a massive pay rise included (well massive for us) £50kish. But I've not yet looked into if I could work or if that would compensate for the cost of living rise.
I'm drawn to Switzerland because of the outdoor life.
Has anyone got any thoughts on being an ex pat in Zurich. Our children are 11 and 8
