.... and the person in the room above has not stopped walking around for the last hour. Back and forth, round and round and the floor is creaking. To top it all he has music playing and the bass is coming through the ceiling. I am so close to screaming at him/her to just shut the fuck up and keep fucking still. I cannot imagine why they are needing to move around an average sized room so much.

Why would you tolerate that? You are paying for your room and the hotel has a duty to ensure that other guests are not being a nuisance.

He's trying to achieve his steps goal on his Fitbit, or similar. He'll stop by midnight. DH runs on the spot in the bathroom for this reason late at night. Really annoying, as it's so loud.

He/she went to bed as soon as I posted. Maybe on MN. 😄. Thank God I’m back in the peace and quiet of my own bed tonight.
