Artex walls anyone?!

Hi I am in the process of buying a 2 bed with lovely drip effect artex walls in all rooms apart from kitchen and bathroom 🙄.Any idea on rough cost for getting rid of this? It seems to be the recommendation now is to skim over it? Many thanks!

artex is a bitch to remove (past experience) and depending on age can have small amounts of asbestos in it so best plan and easiest is to skim over it

Thanks yes I heard skimming over is the best and to not disturb it? I think the general consensus is around 500 a room?
