Am I pregnant?

I took two tests and have very faint lines... one is so faint you can’t see it on the picture.. but the one I’ve attached is quite clear. My period is 6 days out, however I took a clear blue and it said not pregnant. I took numerous other tests last week as I felt nauseous they were all negative! But this one has threw me slightly as I have always been made to believe you can’t get false positives and that to me looks positive

Get a pink dye test. Those blue ones are shit. I'd say that's negative as they practically all look like that.

Icouldstillbejoseph · 18/09/2019 21:13

I vote that you drive to a 24hr supermarket now and get a FRER and report back immediately!

beckylou28 · 18/09/2019 21:15

What’s FRER? Well I’ve only just done the clear blue an it said not pregnant but I’ve had those two blue ones both looking pregnant 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Nightmare! If I drove I would and my little girls fast asleep! 😂🙄 typical

This is a positive on a blue dye test. Taken day after period was due.

Not mine I hasten to add but posted for comparison.

First response test - FRER
Good luck!

NewMe2019 · 18/09/2019 21:34

It looks positive to me. But that line is thin so not sure it's correct. First response are really good. Get one tomorrow and report back 😆.

Couchbettato · 18/09/2019 23:20

I got the clear blue digitals and they said I wasn't pregnant, as well as the standard clear blues. I got some cheapo morrisons ones and they gave me some clear positives. Anyway the morrisons were right cos now I've got a 5 month old.

beckylou28 · 18/09/2019 23:29

Thank u everyone I will report back tommorow ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Why would you continue to test when you got a ‘not pregnant’ message?

beckylou28 · 19/09/2019 00:03

I didn’t..... I done two and they looked positive so I got a clear blue an that’s when I got a “not pregnant” but as I have already stated I have always believed you can get a false negative but not a false positive.... an the two I done looked very much positive so I was just wondering what other helpful people may have thought or if anyone else has had similar things happen but been pregnant! Ye can’t just egnore these things after positives....

HeadintheiClouds · 19/09/2019 00:05

Well, 🤞 for tomorrow, hope you get your positive.

U2HasTheEdge · 19/09/2019 00:07

Can you post the picture in different lighting? Do you want to be pregnant?

duebaby2 · 19/09/2019 00:13

6 days before your period or 6 days since you should have started your period?

Bazie · 19/09/2019 06:46

I found the best pregnancy test was tesco own brand. Cheap and cheerful.
(there is definitely a faint line on the picture of the test you posted)
Let us know! 😊💐

beckylou28 · 19/09/2019 07:15

If people want to be absolute arse wholes why even comment? Got nothing better to do.. I’m asking people’s opinion because my head is absolutely wrecked an I couldn’t get out last night as I have a little girl asleep in bed so wanted other people’s opinions! What’s the problem

beckylou28 · 19/09/2019 07:16

Thank you to everyone who is trying to help and being nice, I appreciate it! That was the cheap Tesco brand & my period was due a week ago xx

@beckylou28 you would get a more positive response if you posted on the conception board - chat is for more general topics, and there are lots of folk on here struggling with infertility who don't want to see other people's tests every few days.

Anyway though, it's definitely positive IMO, congratulations!

beckylou28 · 19/09/2019 07:23

Thank you for advice I didn’t know about conception board. I have just recently had a miscarriage so wouldn’t want to upset anyone but also this is very important to me and I’m not a regular user. The miscarriage has actually caused me and my boyfriend to split as it was too much for us both to deal with so I’m very touchy too at the minute just think nobody knows what other people are going through and although I understand people don’t have to click on my post an comment.. but thank you for making me aware of the conception board x

I hope you can find out for sure soon. I'd be confused by this too and it is a big deal, so i understand why you have posted it. It's probably best to leave a couple of days and test again... although i know that feels impossible when you need to know! Are you testing with 1st wee of the day? Meant to be better x

Glasgow2010 · 19/09/2019 08:04

Morning lovely, with my last pregnancy I tested at night and could barely see the line......tested next .opening with first wee of the day and it was extremely clear. Hope you get the answer you want this morning x X X

MummaJ1 · 19/09/2019 08:05

I had two positives on store brand and not pregnant on clear blue ☺️ some just are more sensitive than others.
First morning wee is best to test, but if you can't wait until tomorrow, hold your wee for a couple of hours and try again. I think if you've had two positive, it's likely you are. X

ColdMarch · 19/09/2019 08:06

With my 18 mo I had the faintest of lines, could barely see it. I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. Took a Tesco own brand test at a week after my period was due and was negative then one a week later and it was positive. Good luck, I had a miscarriage two months before I got pregnant with my first.

Joloupic2019 · 19/09/2019 08:37

Thae line is thin and ligtt which would suggest an indent and not. Positive as they are usually and bolder, oink dye are better as they are less likely to do this.
Also you can get false positives in the case of chemical pregnancy and faulty tests. I would say this is negative but retest with a pink dye to be sure

Joloupic2019 · 19/09/2019 08:37
