No.

However, you may see someone appear in your recommended friend list someone who has repeatedly looked at your profile.

I've just joined too, after years of saying I never ever would, and would appreciate any tips. How many friends for example - some people seem to have thousands. I've accepted a couple of requests from people I barely know and that seems a bit odd but I didn't want to appear rude (sounds a bit pathetic now I've typed that out)

No you can't see who's looked but if you set strict privacy settings then only those on your friends list can see beyond your profile picture.
