Has anyone out there tried calling the PIP helpline lately? I have been trying,on and off for the last ten days with no luck.
The reason I'm phoning is to ask them to send me a letter stating that I am in receipt of the necessary number of points regarding my mobility,in order to renew my concessionary travel pass. The statement has to be dated in the last 3 months,but the original one that I have from the PIP people is dated February. So I have been trying to sort out a new one.
I have tried calling them every day,at various times, (8am when they first open,early afternoon 1 - 2pm,and early evening 5 - 6pm) but keep being put on hold,for up to an hour without being put through to an advisor.
I'm getting twitchy now as time is running out for renewing my pass! (3 weeks left). Has anyone else experienced this? Or has anyone actually got through? And at what time of day was it?!
