This is bizarre! Bought a pack of 2 Burgess kitten food last week - £9 ish down to £6.35. Our cats adore the stuff somI just went to re order and the same item has shot up to £14.25!

How has that happened and how can they justify it?!

Yield management and different sellers charge different prices. If you see something at a good price, stock up.

WelshMoth · 18/09/2019 17:36

Gutted I didn't, Fudge.
Same seller, though.

Really gutted. My 2 kittens would do the haka for this stuff.

They know you bought some, know you like it, so raise the price as they think you’ll pay more.

When I deleted the cookies on my computer I suddenly started seeing things much cheaper - eg we saved £300 on flights!

You can use Keepa with Amazon pricing.

You set a ‘required’ price and it will inform you of reductions to, or below that price.

Toodeloo · 18/09/2019 19:56

Go on camelcamelcamel.co.uk it’ll show you a price history of the item and will send you an email when price goes down again. It’ll also look into other webpages to see if you can get it cheaper elsewhere

The link I put has a packet of the same food for £3.03.

WelshMoth · 18/09/2019 21:32

Thanks!

I have things like that on an Amazon wish list so I can keep an eye on the prices.
