does anyone else have, or had, a one year old with no teeth? my sister’s little boy has just turned one and he has no teeth and no signs of any coming any time soon. me and my sister can’t remember when our older children cut their teeth 🙈 so we’re just wondering if this is usual?

My son and no teeth at 1, he's now 2 and a bit and they are all there. I worried too.

This is not unusual. My eldest didn’t have any teeth come through until after her first birthday.

My DD had one tooth - a lower incisor- come through at 11.5 months. She looked like a comedy bulldog. On her first birthday she still had just one side tooth; by turning 13 months she had 8 teeth. That was a fun month!

DS didn’t get any teeth until the week before his first birthday, then he got 7 at once. He didn’t loose any until he was nearly 7.
