I have an interview coming up and, while preparing for it, I've realised that I have little superstitions about my interviews.
I think my DM started it when she gave me gran's wedding ring to wear to my first ever interview for luck (my gran's wedding ring didn't actually fit anyone, so we just had it on a chain). Since then, my DM's and DF's wedding rings have been added to the chain.
I also have to wear a scarf and my engagement ring (I lost the original at work, so there was no way he was getting it back when the relationship ended).
In the last few years, I have managed to prevent myself from taking my record of achievement to every interview with me (don't ask).
Does anyone have any superstitions they have for interviews, or am I just weird?
