Recommendation for pocket puzzle things?

So I'm not really sure what I'm after here but my daughter is having a party in an escape room. We're not doing party bags but I'd like to give the kids a little puzzle or toy infitting with the theme. There aren't many kids so maybe about £5 each? I'd like to get something decent that they might play with for longer than 5 mins (or will at least be able to charity shop/regift!). They will be around 9.

Dd1 loves the IQ fit games but I doubt you'd get them for £5.
Have you had a look at the works? Fake Rubiks cube type puzzles.

Have a look in Costco - I saw a pack of nine little wooden puzzle things that would be perfect! Not sure how much the pack was - but would definitely be

Ohhhh, those balls where you have to get the ball bearing round the maze! I can’t remember what they are called...

That was a really helpful post MarsBarAttacks. I was after one of those labyrinth games for my DS but I didn't know what they were called.

You have saved me some frantic googling followed by asking on here.

Glad you found what you're looking for, TonofLead.

What about a Rubix cube? You can get them for under £5 on amazon.
