Bread maker

I've got a very dusty bread maker in a cupboard that I'd like to get the hang of.
As I remember the instructions didn't seem to relate to packets of bread ingredients.
Has anyone struggled but then got the hang of it. Any recipes gratefully received.

I love mine and have perfected a loaf thatvworks well in the machine I have which is ——

190ml water (not too cold)
15ml oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
350 grams of plain bread flour
1 yeast sachet

Is there a specific program I need to press?

What make/ model is it? If you google the details you should be able to download a manual for it which will include some recipes.

My recipe is for standard sandwich loaf

If your machine just has numbers then you will need to find out but it’s normallh program 1, and the ingredients are for a small loaf

I use a Russel Hobbs

I bung in 400g bread flour, 15g butter, tsp salt, tsp sugar, 290 mls of either milk or water and a tsp of yeast.
I think it depends on the bread maker though.

I have got the manual somewhere but somehow I couldn't tally up the recipe with brad packets.
I think I need to abandon the pocket idea and buy the ingredients.
Thanks I'll give it another go
