North Sea Ferries in October

I've never done the overnight crossing from Newcastle to Holland, let alone in Autumn. I'm not a good sailor, how likely is it to be rough and has anyone found anything that works better than Stugeron for sea sickness, just in case. Going second week in October.with my fingers crossed.

you can get lucky in october - or very unlucky.
if it's rough go either straight to bed and stay there or stay somewhere up where you can see the horizon (bed is better ime)
