Ds2 (6) has just had a nose bleed.
He refused to sit and let me pinch his nose. He refused to hold a tissue to it. He's also full of the cold so was intermittently spraying blood, clots and snot all over the bathroom while howling hysterically.
It's stopped now, as these things do. I've got him cleaned up and in pjs. I've got the bathroom looking less like an abattoir. I've got his school uniform and my cream jeans soaking.
I need a drink.
