Can anyone please help me.

I have a new iPhone.

Can I do something with my old phone so it moves all my messages, pictures and apps etc so that my new phone is my old phone exactly but just on a new handset?

I'm going to sound thick now but do I need to do that on the phone or on a pc because I did that on the phone and it didn't copy.

Do I need to save it on the I cloud then it should copy?

If so how do I sync my iCloud to save everything as is now?

I have the space to so that in my iCloud just can't work out how I save it from now as is

Depending on the model it may prompt you when you start to set it up to put your old phone close to the new one and it will take everything across

Yes it needs to be saved to the cloud. Mine is all automatically added so you’ll have to do it retrospectively.

(Don't erase the old phone until you are sure everything is transferred and ideally make a full iTunes/iCloud backup before starting the transfer. Just in case)

Well it's updating an iOS update so I guess I will see after that.
