Any physiologists here - exams gcse

Hi. I’m trying to get as much information as I can for my son. He is doing his GCSE this year. He would like to look in that direction. Any help on exams , sixth form , college. Can you tell me what path you went. What you found helpful etc.

I'm not a physiologist but is this a profession in its own right or is it one specialisation in medicine?

Depends what type of physiology -it's a large field with many specialities.
