Anyone got this bug??

Last night I suddenly became achey and cold, went to bed and slept, also feeling sick. Got sent home from work today and still feeling achey and very sick- cannot face food at all. I’ve been asleep for most of the afternoon, anyone else have this bug? Nobody else in my office has it and I’m not sure I’ll be able to go to work tomorrow.

There’s definitely some nasty bugs around at the moment. I have a stinking cold with added upset stomach, which seems to be a souped-up version of the inevitable cold my children brought home from school in their first week.

I’d stay home tomorrow if I were you OP. No point risking spreading it around. Feel better soon Flowers

Sounds similar to how I felt last week. I had one day of dizziness/lightheadedness but mostly feeling very nauseous. I had 3 days off work but didn't really feel 100% for 4 or 5 days in all.

If you've been sent home from work then they know you're poorly so I would just ring in. Hope you're on the mend soon. Flowers

What you have described is exactly how I'm feeling today. Suddenly came over all nauseous last night and today I'm still feeling sick, achey and freezing cold.

I was like this last week, felt sick and was shivering. DP also felt the same the next day. No idea what it was though! It lasted a couple of days and then we felt fine again.

My daughter was like this and i had it too but actually vomiting as well 😟 get well soon

Stinking cold here. Upset tummy for a few days and absolutely ache all over. And winter hasn't even begun yet!

The whole household has a wretched bug. Hot/cold and lots of D&V. On the plus side I’ve lost a decent amount of weight

We’ve got it too, not sure if it was food poisoning as I’ve been puking and shitting all last night and feel like death this morning. Husband is more or less the same as me.

I feel as if I have the mother of all hangovers- without the fun nightGrin .Ive not eaten for a day or so now, have asked dd to get some bananas. Glad to hear that it goes within a few days. I also thought food poisoning at first- similar symptoms. Get well soon all x

I felt exactly like this just under 18 months ago, thought it was an awful bug, now I've got a nine month old...

Yes it reminds me of the awful morning sickness I had with my youngest- but as a I’m single it would be a miracle of biblical proportions whybirdsstop Grin
