Just that really. I'm not one of these who gets my tree up in Nov, so sorry for the Christmas topic. But I could do with starting to think about this!
I actually dropped a Switch into conversation and he said "nah" phew!

My 6yo DD wants an explorers kit. She wants a jacket with lots of pockets, magnifying glass, notebook, bag, compass, map etc... All the things she might need on an adventure.

Mine's been asking for a skateboard. Will get a second hand one because I have a feeling it will be gathering dust soon after.... he'll also get a set of Lego which he loves.

Nousernameforme · 17/09/2019 15:30

Magnet blocks. They are 2d plastic shapes you fit together to build stuff. Games lego a robot lizard thing puzzles. He doesnt play with figures and small world stuff he likes to build and play board games so we are sticking with this

Morgan12 · 17/09/2019 15:35

Last year I got my DS all the avengers dolls and avengers outfits. Plus some avengers Lego and avengers games for the ps4.

Does he like avengers? 😂

RicStar · 17/09/2019 15:50

At the moment I think My 5.5 will get lego, maybe a cooperative board game, and some other construction type toy, may be Harry Potter robes/wand.

Mummyilovejokes1 · 19/09/2019 19:13

So far some pjs and a geomag set. I am all out of ideas now Confused he likes the idea of lego but mainly takes it apart then gets bored, doesn't spend the time to learn how to put it together, not interested in anything specific like Harry Potter either. Following this thread for inspiration!

Stompythedinosaur · 19/09/2019 19:17

Our 6yo dd2 is getting lego, a harry potter wand, a bop it, juggling balls and a diabolo, books and a toy squishy poo.

TankGirl97 · 19/09/2019 19:19

More outdoor toys, possibly a joint present of a trampoline for all the dc’s.
Story cd’s for the car (probably David walliams).
A toy snake at his request.
Probably a card game like happy families or uno.

I keep a sneaky list on my phone so if they mention something or an idea pops into my head, I can write it down.

The only thing we've got DS6 for Xmas so far is this robot www.thetoyshop.com/electronic-educational-toys/robot-toys/Boxer-Robot/p/535068

He has just had his birthday though and got three small Spider-Man, technic and Star Wars Lego sets, airfix plane, Pokemon stuff, tickets for marvel live show, fingerlings untamed dinosaur, robot alive dinosaur, a how to train your dragon drone, Dobble game, three different sets of top trumps, a blade builder set, how to train your dragon eggs, grow your own dinosaur garden, and bear grylls and beast quest books.

Andonandonan · 19/09/2019 19:32

Mine will get Lego as that’s his absolute favourite thing in the world.

Andonandonan · 19/09/2019 19:32

Oh and maybe a Fitbit?

Bigpizzalover · 19/09/2019 19:36

Mines getting Lego and a bike.

sanityisamyth · 19/09/2019 19:37

So far I've got him:

Lego advent calendar
Books
New swimming bag and dive sticks
Hoodie
Top Trump cards
Phlat ball

It's his birthday close to Christmas though so it gets spread across both days, although going to Center Parcs and the activities there is his proper birthday present.

He doesn't really need or want anything though, except endless Lego sets!! He's got a Lego set on his Santa list so that covers that one :)

CroissantsAtDawn · 19/09/2019 19:46

Ambulance playmobil. And a beach lifeguard playmobil.

He also wants a bag and would love an explorers kit as mentionned above so will look into that

AgesAndAges · 19/09/2019 19:50

Ds is looking for a go-pro type camera and I've been recommended a £40 on Amazon by a few people. He's also asking for a laptop with mouse, so might get him a vtech challenger too.

No interest in superheros or Lego here yet

MinnieMountain · 19/09/2019 21:09

Spread over Christmas and November birthday: Bigtrack programmable car, electric circuits set, rock tumbler, 3D mermaid lamp, book about electrics and magnets, crystal growing kit.
