Just that really.
I’m about to dip my toes in & try dating.

I signed up to Tinder about a month ago but found it terrifying after a day & deleted my account.
I’m really not sure how they all work 😂

I’ve never actually dated in my life.
I was my Ex’s lodger 27 years ago & got married when I was 18.

Some posters will be along to say "only go for the paid sites, you get more genuine guys who are genuinely looking for a relationship".

Some posters will be along to say that the quality of guys is better on the paid sites.

I've used all of them. Found paid sites no better at all. Paid sites have lots of fake profiles to give an impression of better quality. But you'll suddenly find they only start messaging you just as your free trial is running out, or your subscription is running out.

Basically, they are all as shit as each other, so why pay for what you can tolerate for free? Women tend to prefer Bumble as they get a bit more control.

I always thought Guardian soulmates was good. I am gay though not sure what the men were like.

Better quality of messages and, I think, more genuine people on Guardian. Given up on Bumble. Get a free trial on Guardian and see how you get on.
