One year old vaccines and high temp

I took my 17m of DD for her vaccine injection today. I was quite surprised to learn from the nurse that she would be getting 4 injections. Aside from the pain on having 4 injections I thought it was a lot for a little ones.immune system. She insisted that I should make her have them all at once and not 2 some other day as I suggested.

Anyhow, DD was a bit off the rest of the day and went to bed. She woke up at 10pm vomiting and now at midnight she has a high temp. I have already given her some paracetamol. I'm now really worried that she's having a bad reaction to the vaccine.
Has anyone else had anything similar with the vaccine? I now really regret not going with my gut instinct of splitting the vaccines.

Temp rise is completely normal, you should have been talked through this at the docs. 24 hours after any vaccines can be like having a one-day attack of cold/flu. Adults too, not just kids.

What's the temp?

Splitting vaccines isn't considered sensible as too few people successfully bring their kids in for the whole course.

It's normal to have high temp after vaccs, the NHS website has loads of info on all the vaccinations and the sort of reactions that are normal 🙂
