Ds suddenly wetting himself no idea why

Title says it all really!
Ds5 has been dry day and night since 2yrs old but has in the last 2 weeks wet his bed x2, wet my bed x2, and had 2 accidents in the car and 2 at school 🙁
He is normally very reliable.
He hasn't had any major life change, no change of routine, isn't poorly (had this ruled out at gp).
He says he doesn't know why its happening but he is ultra embarrassed each time , especially at school.
I've tried reminding him, waking him at night and pre-sleep/journey wee.
What's going on? Any tips?

Is he worried about something in his new class at school maybe? Perhaps the change after the summer holiday has unsettled him?

Could he be constipated? Sometimes they get bunged up down there and there's more pressure on the bladder.

Chop, I recognise your name, know you're a regular but I honestly wouldn't post here about that subject or give any details (embarrassment etc).

Sadly Mumsnet isn't safe for this topic.

I'd go back to the GP.

GP would say in that situation always go and see them as it's likely to be an infection of some point.

@TriNTmOLLER... why is it not safe here to ask? I'll defo go back to gp x
