Anyone see that Patrick Swayze documentary on channel 5 last night? God, I loved him I thought he was drop dead gorgeous, incredibly talented and seemed to be a genuine gentleman.

I wish he’d have passed his genes on to a new generation.

His wife has had a lot of back lash as apparently she kept all of his belongings and wouldn’t give anything at all to his family. Apparently she auctioned it all off

His wife of 34 years has the right to do as she chose with his belongings in the absence of any item being allocated to a family member in his will.

I read that earlier. Why does the niece think that his personal effects are anything to do with her? Or that they belong to the family? They don't, they belong to his widow.

Fame brings out the greedy. Nobody in the extended family cares about a loved ones clothes when they die but, be famous and it's all fair game. Lousy behaviour.

Lying - Almost guaranteed the niece would have only sold his belongings anyway.... Apparently she is estranged from her father (Don Swayze)

Oh absolutely, VillageFete, the petition was just gratuitous attention-seeking. Nobody who loved their family member would do that.
