Hi All,

Anyone able to tell me how soon after a diagnosed Missed Miscarriage an ERPC is usually carried out?

Had a bad first scan last week, thought I was 9 weeks and scan dates me to about 6... so can only assume the worst really.

Just want to prepare myself.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I experienced this twice a couple of years ago and it truly is a horrible thing to go through Flowers.

It completely depends on when the hospital has an available slot. I got the bad news on a Wednesday the first time and was in the next morning for medical management (which didn’t work so I had to have emergency ERPC that night). The second time I had my scan on a Friday and they couldn’t get me in until the Tuesday morning.

Sorry things are looking bad Flowers I was offered one the next day after the scan confirming no heartbeat. Was glad they could fit me in quickly. I hope they can do the same for you if you do need one.

Thanks all.

Scan is this Friday, so can only assume they will do it on the monday if possible... doubt they do weekends!
