O2 London seating question

Torn between two options for a gig next year. Seats are either in block 108 (£87) or 417 (£70). The height and steep stairs aren't too much of an issue, I've been in the upper level before but block 419 so closer to the stage. In the lower level I've been in blocks 112 and 111, so closer still!

Wondering if anyone has experience of the seating further back, does 108 feel miles away as you're right at the far end? Or still preferable to the higher blocks, and worth the extra? 417 is on the corner, is there really a world of difference?

I would go for the lower blocks as I feel the view is much better but depends how much you want to save the money... Enjoy!

Are you going to seethe Pet Shop Boys? I've gone for block 105 as from the info from the Internet, the views seems pretty good. I was happy to spend the extra as they'll be ace.

Yep, it's the Pet Shop Boys! I'm leaning more towards the lower block I think, up that high always has the risk of feeling like you're watching people at a show rather than actually being part of it yourself.

I'm so excited! I've seen them before and they are ace. Normally i would not go to big venues like the o2 but I decided that this is one show I have to see. Enjoy!

Yeah go for 108. It's still a good view - better if anything as you are looking straight on at the stage. I was in 106 last year and we found the view great - depends if they have a catwalk type stage too as the view is brilliant then!

I got the 108 ticket, row M. I've never seen them before but can't help but think it could possibly be the last chance (seems a strange time in their career to do their first greatest hits tour otherwise!) so I couldn't miss the chance. I can't wait!

Was just coming on to say I found the higher seating (400s) awful. I was the stage end bit but I felt so distant from the action, like I was pretty much watching on TV. It all felt a bit insecure too, standing up, felt like it would be all too easy to fall. Could just be the sensation and I'm sure it's safe, and this was over ten years ago so perhaps it's changed. I'd always go for lower level though.

I was in 417 this weekend. It was ok. Great view of the overall 'show' but I did feel very removed from the whole thing. I'd go lower level if possible.
