I've started to blog my daughter's letters to me and my partner - usually left on our bed after a bit of a ding-dong or taped on her door.
She is 12 now and thinks I am a bit weird to do this but is OK with it. Our other daughter didn't write notes like this. Not all kids do...
Some are shining with anger but others are contrite. They're really funny and sweet without being icky. Take a look.
I'm really hoping other mums will send me their stuff - a scan is fine, or if that isn't possible you can send a colour photocopy or even the original. Promise to send back by registered.
I don't want photos of children and I won't use any surnames - just firsts.
If enough people get interested maybe we could do a book. I work in the media and am trying to get some magazines interested. I'd like to get a literacy charity involved - maybe Dahl Foundation. I only started this yesterday so I've got a way to go. Anyway contributions - and your feedback - are hugely welcome!
