I can smell feet all the time! It started a few days ago and it’s driving me mad . I have scrubbed my feet , cut toenails, smothered them with cream but can still smell feet. I smell feet in bed , watching tv , at work . My shoes don’t smell and it’s not a strong smell , almost as if the smell is in my nose and not an actual smell iyswim. My ears are fine , don’t have a sore throat , how can I stop smelling feet ? 😩

Behind your ears where earring butterfly is ( if you have them) can smell quite cheesy. Shock

Do you have a nose piercing? I have my septum pierced and every so often I have to give it a good clean because it can get a bit smelly Envy

It's not your bra, is it? After a long day at work I can sometimes get 'gusts' of a yeasty sort of smell, it's where I have sweated into my bra.

Of course, if you don't wear a bra in bed, all my theories are rubbish...

I was going to say carpet as ours has been a bit whiffy in the past, but if you’re noticing it at work then I reckon it’s your smellbow as well.

I remember a post on MN yeeeeears ago where a mum couldn't trace a smell and it turned out their DS had a Lego / pea / something random in their nose that had been causing it.

If it's at home and work, it sounds like it might be something in your nose / sinuses. Can other people smell it?

Any closer to working out what stinks, OP?

Candle1000 · 23/09/2019 20:52

No closer to figuring it out.

Do you have a dog? Dog paws have a nice biscuit smell. Although if you smell it all the time I'm thinking more likely a tonsil stone.

Sinus infection. Bacteria can make the snot in your nose smell like sweaty feet.

There's lovely.

Blast your sinuses with Sterimed.

Have you got someone else to smell you?
