Were the people you chat to regularly, the same set of people, this time last year?

2019 brought some enormous changes for me and it struck me today how different the list of people I regularly text (my preferred method of communication) is, compared to last year. It’s quite sad in some ways and heartening in other ways. It’s definitely interesting how much things can change and how people can come in and out of life unexpectedly.

Same. Mum, step Mum and sister

Same. Best friend, 3 close friends, husband and sister.

Mostly the same. One friend I've grown a little distant from and speak less, 2 I've become closer to and we speak more often now. Family still regular.

Funny you should ask; we've had a bit of a cull this last year. A death in the family has brought out peoples' true colours. We've discovered who our true friends are...

They are yes, but if you'd have asked me this the year after I had my first DS then the answer would have been no.
