Hello all, apologise in advance this is a bit too much information but I’m curios if others have experienced this.
I had a non voluntary c section 5 days ago, for the last 3 days I cannot sit on the toilet without leaking a mucus substance, but not from my vagina (gross I know). I also can’t seem to pass wind without that happening too. I have already opened my bowelse normally.
Anyone else had this or heard of it?

Sorry to be gross back! It’s from the anus 😣

No I never had this and I've had 2 c sections. Sorry I'm no help.

OP it sounds possibly like piles / haemorrhoids - maybe pregnancy / pressure induced?

Hi,
I had a c section 4 weeks ago and I’m just now starting to have pain in my hips and that general area. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this to?

Snowflake9 · 07/10/2019 22:51

Have you managed a "normal" (normal for you) bowel movement?

When I have hemmaroids, I have had this mucus type from the back. Could you be constipated?

MummyB06 · 07/10/2019 22:54

You are completely right! That’s what it turned out to be!

But the hip pain is very new

It doesn’t feel like muscle or joint pain which is rather strange.

It has gone quite swollen now, all around my hips and below the c section scar. I think I may have an infection.

Lazysundays18 · 12/10/2019 23:26

@MummyB06 are you feeling unwell? I'd phone NHS24 if you are.

Haggisfish · 12/10/2019 23:29

I did, and again about three months after. I had piles as well but think my guts did not appreciate being taken out during my section!

What actually is it though? Blood?
