Conception TTC - which supplements should I take?

Hello!
I’m 26 and recently married. We are looking at trying to conceive, I’m currently on the coil but I’m due to have this taken out soon. My doctor has said I should start taking some supplements before the coil comes out to boost my folic acid etc. She requested pregnacare but I’ve read up that it messes people’s periods etc. Can I have some advice please?

I personally just took regular folic acid but others will advise differently I'm sure!

Folic acid is the big one really. Good luck!

I used the seven seas pregnancy vitamins. I was out off pregnacare by its name. It's like nails down a chalkboard in awefulness to me.

Folic acid pre-conception and for the first 12 weeks, also vitamin D throughout pregnancy, are the most important ones.

If you want to go for more there as are multivitamins which also contain minerals like iron, calcium and iodine but those are not necessary, just an added extra.
