Trying to got the confidence to go

Need some words of encouragement. I'm trying to pluck the courage up to go to my local pub along and sit along the river with a drink and a book. For some reason I feel petrified but I want to do it as it's such a lovely day. I have no one else to go with today. Also I spoke to DF earlier and he said I should get myself out there e.g. dating wise and do it. Someone could come along and we could start chatted. I said funny thing is I thought about this, this morning. I just need to find the confidence as I know it's going to be busy down there.

In my experience you are unlikely to meet the love of your life down there (I think a dog is the way to attract them in TBH) but you'll have a lovely time.

I was thinking about getting a dog next year when DS goes to school. Maybe that's the way! 😂

I wish I was at a pub drinking wine and reading. So much better than my current afternoon of housework and trying to get a Y7 to do their homework. Enjoy the sunshine and have one for me!

I'm glad I did it. Just had some kids come up to and just sat and stared then one poked me 😂 just had to ignore. Now waiting in my chips
