Unsafe workplace?

Hi, I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I work as a personal carer, employed directly by my client. I work in her home 5 days a week between 1.5 - 5.5 hours. She's a heavy smoker and I'm concerned about the effect it'll have on the baby.
I have no idea what rights I have or if I can do anything, she's unwilling to compromise and smoked around me the entire time I was pregnant with my first which meant I had to take maternity leave as early as possible.
Does anyone know what I can do?
Thanks

I think that, as yoyr employer, your client should be doing a risk assessment around your pregnancy, and one of the areas looked at is exposure to toxic substances. Failure to do a risk assessment re pregnancy means they are breaching the equalities act.

Citizen's advice can help. This webpage goes through your rights as an employee.

Thank you that helps a lot, I'll ask for a risk assessment and see how it goes from there.
