What are you all up to today?

I've just realised I forgot to message a friend and see if she wants a hand in her shop today since me other friend (who works there) is on holiday (very small shop with just the one employee atm).

I'll do that in a mo then I'm going to shift and wash up some of last night's pots, and get dressed.

If I don't go down there, I want to get out in the back garden for an hour and tidy it up a bit more before winter.

Dd2 has homework so we'll do that today at some point so it's done.

It'll probably be quite a slow and steady day tbh, nowhere in particular to be & I'm guessing the girls are tired since they're not up yet.

What about you lot? Anyone up to much? :)

I will be resting in bed as disabled. Dh, Ds1 and my dad are out at a football thing. Ds2 will probably be on the phone to his girlfriend or annoying me lol. Dd1 is going out with her cousin. Ddog will be laying with me all day.
Will also be making sure people are doing their chores before they go anywhere thou as uniform to wash etc.

Food shopping, then some baking with DS. I'm out tonight for a friend's big birthday, going for a meal and drinks. DS staying at his grandparents house.

DH went away for work this morning at 4:30 - back in a week.
So I had to do the food shop and the meal plan, which is done now. DD - lots of free time before uni starts in october - did the cleaning yesterday.
So we all have lots of free time and will do nothing special: reading and knitting (me), drawing and harp practice (DD), sleeping (DS).

I'm currently relishing a lie in thanks to youngest DDs ballet lesson being later this term. I've got a bit of work and some laundry to get done before her lesson then once DH is back from work I'm out to the theatre, dinner and drinking with some friends. Been looking forward to it for months

Dance classes start back today . Ballet for dd2 first and then modern and ballet for dd1 . Might go to park later as it’s so nice .

Walked the dogs, already curled up on the sofa with DS2 watching Toy Story 3. Don't think we will be up to much, as we had a hectic day yesterday. Recovering ready for a day out tomorrow. And we are having Buffalo Steak and homemade chips for tea tonight 😁

Calm, relaxed pottering sort of day today. Brilliant sunshine so probably some gardening and out to the allotment later too. DC have a bit of homework to do and I have to get the laundry on the line to dry. Baby DC is just going down for a nap, so cup of tea in the sunshine before anything else today.

I’m having a coffee having just got back from DD’s swimming lesson.

DH is off to a bbq shortly. I might bake a cake with the DC. DD has requested “going somewhere exciting” but I cba, so I’m hoping baking will be an acceptable compromise.

Waiting for OH to get back from work so i can have a nap after DC kept me up all night teething 😩

Doing lots of washing, hanging out, general tidying, then picking up DD from drama class, back here for a quick sandwich, then back out to walk the dogs and no doubt stop off for a drink at the local. Tonight I'm cooking a butterflies leg of lamb for all of us and have just noticed DP has bought a bottle of prosecco 😁👍 so will be sat outside in the sunshine enjoying that later. Then a film that DP and I have compromised on, which basically means one that neither of us really want to watch. Then bed.

We have been to DD1's swimming lesson which takes all morning by the time we have walked there and back. Now we are going to an arts/ nature festival, then home for dinner, bath time etc before I go to work and do a night shift. Who wants to sleep ever anyway?!

DD was delighted with the idea of making fairy cakes they’re now in the oven while she and DS are playing cars together. Later I plan to send them outside to play while I do some jobs in the garden.

Plans have gone out of the window as baby ds is sick. He’s been up all night and is now alternating between sleeping on me, attempting to breastfeed and projectile vomiting.

DH is working so 5 year old DS is installed in front of the television until he gets bored which I’m sure will be pretty soon. I feel really guilty though as he gets cabin fever if he’s not aired daily but I really can’t take the baby out

I am visiting my DD1 in London this weekend and we are going to Proms in the Park this afternoon. Looking forward to it!

Taking washing to DD1s , because my washing machine is still not fixed...3 weeks so far.

Dying DD2 hair, to try and cover the blue from summer hols before school notice and complain.

Um after that don't know

Usual mass washing this morning, visiting the in laws this afternoon followed by a Chinese takeaway tonight!

Beautiful day here, getting loads of washing done.

Cleaned out DDs pit of a bedroom, 2 black bags full of rubbish or recycling, looks fab.

Need to walk DDog at some point.

Chicken enchiladas for dinner.

Weather is beautiful here ( NW ) and we have a pretty busy day ahead, well I have anyway!

Dd is 8 and the buckle on her new school shoes broke off on Monday after she has only worn them for 4 days so have to take them back.

I also have a huge letter to write to PIP after receiving the report from ds’s medical where they scored him zero points. He has ASD, is 16 and needs quite a lot of help with personal care etc so I have to go through a dreaded mandatory reconsideration.

I expect the letter to take me a few hours. I also have laundry to do and am sorting ds’s room out with him.

I’ve been awake since 12.30 am as have insomnia so hoping I can fit a nap in somewhere

I'm bored. The shop is quiet so I'm not needed

I've done approx 1 bazillion wash loads, washed up several times, put a henna tattoo on dd2, taken in a parcel, read through the homework sheet to start when dd2 finishes lunch, and been interested in dd1's waffle about Riverdale . Just the garden to do & peg out this load of washing when it's done.

I might type up a risk assessment...maybe. Or I might go and buy wine for later on . I really fancied a glass last night but there was none in the fridge so I didn't bother.

DS is doing 11+ practice tests as he has the test in 2 weeks. It’s not going well...

Apollo we've flown down from Edinburgh for Proms in the Park - so excited for Barry Manilow!! Have fun
