I had a stillbirth at 22 weeks 4 day . I gave birth to my little baby boy and of course I got the bleeding which had only lasted 5 days. It's now 14th September and I took a test. It showed a faint line . Is it possible to get pregnant again this quick ? Or ?

I'm so sorry for your loss Thanks how long ago was it?

If you both ovulated and had sex about 2 weeks ago then yes you could be pregnant.

I gave birth to my baby boy 25th July. I just have nothing to really help figure the timeline out .
I just know I stopped bleeding 30th July and we only started getting Intimate end of August/ beginning of September.

Sorry for your loss. Flowers

I think it could be a possibility. Having miscarried quite far along I know how emotional all of this is. Can you book yourself an appointment with the GP? I hope you get the outcome you want.

Your body will be very fertile from your previous pregnancy so it sounds like a possibility. Do you have a private fertility clinic near you? You may even be able to get an appointment for a blood test today, some clinics open on Saturdays. What an emotional time for you, I hope things work out x

Thank you so much x it means a lot . I just don't be able to get an appointment yet as they open monday and im going away for a while with my husband and it's just made me in shock state . I'm so happy but just so confused and everything else in between.

I don't have a fertility Clinc near me . I'll have to drive to Birmingham for that. I just don't know if any places would be open.

So sorry for your loss. I had a second trimester loss last year at 16 weeks so can understand some of your pain.

My hospital advised to take a pregnancy test 6 weeks after we lost our son to check the HCG was out of my system. It was by that point but that was how long I was told that the hormone could remain in my body.

Hoping that your little rainbow is making its way to you. Thanks

I think it's fairly unlikely after more than 7 weeks that it's still hormones from previous pregnancy. Good luck OP sorry for your loss. Thanks

stucknoue · 14/09/2019 08:11

Thanks. It's quite possible the hormones are still in your system from your loss but equally you could be, take care of yourself and make an appointment in a week if no af
