Seriously I've just come here for rant about a so called mate whose just pissed me off AGAIN for not the first time. Name changers here

I think she's a fuckin free loader if I'm being honest.

Always after after free meal and very rarely puts her hand in her pocket. If I invite her round she brings nothing

Example. Always comes to my house and if I'm cooking obviously I'll feed her but there no offer to wash up or clean up after. I had a go about it to her once. Lunch was at 2 it took her until about 7pm to wash the plate because other people were offering to do it but I told them no she needs to do it. Why is she like this?

Another. Tonight. She's coming round and2 of our guy mates are coming I've cooked they're bringing drink and dessert. I messaged her to ask her to buy cheese. Her reply? I have cheese in my fridge. I'm contributing nothing to this evening! What a cunt! Nasty.

So I message back what a shot attitude to a group event you can't buy fuckin Parmesan?!

Her reply. I'm
Going on holiday tomorrow so I'm contributing nothing I've paid out too much already I've got so much to do I'm not staying long your lucky I'm coming. Rant over!

Wow fuckin don't come then twat!

I said that in but so many words. She said she's coming because she don't want to miss the fun 😒

More example. Her birthday and Christmas I get her small token gifts. My birthday and Christmas. NOTHING. Another friend of ours she buys her a cake does happy birthday gets her an amazing present!

Another one. She asked what i was cooking dinner I said blah blah she said eurgh I hate that I can't stand eggs like that. I said ok. Continued to make the food anyway then she was hovering. I dished up for me and my child and she says that looks nice. My kid says why aren't you eating? Before she could answer I said because she said it's disgusting she's going to order food. She was NOT impressed.

Am I a mug do you reckon?

We've been friends for nearly 30 years ffs why is like this ? Or am I the one in the wrong??

Gosh that feels better.

She's like this because you let her.

Bitchfeatures · 13/09/2019 20:34

Ditch her, simples.

moonpiggle · 13/09/2019 20:34

Leave the bitch.

TenPenceMix · 13/09/2019 20:35

Tell her to FTF off

feelingsicknow · 13/09/2019 20:35

Yup. Ignore that one from now on.

Sagradafamiliar · 13/09/2019 20:44

You don't sound like a mug tbh, I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of you 😂

tierraJ · 13/09/2019 20:50

Friends should enhance your life not make it stressful.

DanglyTasselsOfThigh · 13/09/2019 21:19

Grobags do you feel great now?

ymf117 · 13/09/2019 22:12

I've had this before, used as a doormat and although easy to be sentimental about a long friendship, I totally ditched, wasn't worth the stress and energy I spent getting annoyed

Leeds2 · 13/09/2019 22:40

She behaves as she does because you let her. Stop enabling her!

And stop buying her birthday and Christmas presents.

ellzebellze · 13/09/2019 22:45

She behaves as she does because you let her

Nice victim blaming there.

userxx · 13/09/2019 22:49

You clearly don't like each other much...... what's the point?

Aus84 · 13/09/2019 23:17

Do you have a lot of mutual friends? If so, if you were to have a major falling out with this friend would it affect your relationships with mutual friends and prevent you from seeing them as much? If that's the case I do understand why you have put up with this for so long. If not, ditch the woman.

Sewrainbow · 14/09/2019 08:51

You're a mug, tell her she's not welcome. If she turns up tell her to go away and never return.

I can't believe anyone would openly say they refuse to bring something to a host house when asked and still have the cheek to turn up! Shock
