Night out shoreditch Whitechapel area

Any suggestions for somewhere with a nice fun vibe, not too young, def not pretentious for a few drinks on a Friday night. Or somewhere an easy tube from Aldgate East/Whitechapel

You have the magic roundabout in the middle of the Old Street Roundabout.

Although I last went a couple of years ago now - it was a fun night.
There’s also Boxpark Shoreditch although not been myself

I work in Aldgate East.
I can recommend the LST (Leman Street Tavern). It's lovely and spacious and has an enormous range of drinks available.
The Three Tuns on Jewry St is very understated and not pretentious at all, but lovely and has a wonderful rooftop beer garden.

If you want food, then I like going up to Box Park in Shoreditch. Its quite 'hipster', but its worth it though for the food!

Spitalfields has some lovely food stalls, though I'm not sure what time it closes.
