Has anyone used an online letting agent

Interested to hear if you have used one as a landlord as I want to let out my flat, and also would be interested if you have been a tenant in a property managed by an online letting agent as obviously want my tenants to get good service from them too.

Looking at £90 a month to cover everything including rent guarantee and repair guarantee - has anyone done this and is it worth it?

Have seen high street agents who have quoted more money for less things included so would be really grateful to hear your experiences, thank you!

Both myself and DH have used the online letting agent numerous times. They’re brilliant and I would recommend.

Thanks @StressyDressyHeels, I had a quick look and couldn’t see an option where they guarantee rent and repairs though which is really what I’m after.

Sorry, the only rent guarantee I’ve seen is added to your landlords buildings insurance.

I’ve never heard of repair guarantee.

@StressyDressyHeels ah ok I didn’t know you could get that as part of your insurance. I’ll look into it, thanks. The company I’ve been looking at are howsy and their protect package covers rent and ‘most repairs’ for £90 a month which seems pretty good but I need to check it thoroughly to see what is covered

Did you decide to go with Howsy? I’m just taking a look and interested to know your decision.
