I bought some winter welly-type boots in January. They were expensive, "investment" boots. Obviously, apart from January-March-ish, it has been summer and I haven't worn them. Even when I did use them, it was for gentle strolls around the garden or light walks with DC (DC are very small, so the walk would not exactly have been taxing).
I put them on last week and they have a huge rip on at the side of the bridge of my foot...think where you'd crease them if you crouched. The other one has a big crack in the exact same place.
I contacted the company I got hem from and was fobbed off with "it isn't a manufacturing fault as it happened after 3 months. Sorry." And they are refusing to refund/exchange.
After trying to escalate it, I've been told that if I get an independent company to verify manufacturing fault they'll consider my claim. Where do I even start?! I'm in the uk.
