Every 10 minutes or so since about 11pm last night (well I assume, as I did sleep but I did keep waking up and hearing it), there has been a very odd loud pitched beep outside.
My house backs onto gardens of two other streets at 90 degrees to mine, so it's either coming from a house or a garden.
It lasts about one-two seconds. One high pitched beep going up, if that makes sense, and another going down. A bit like those toys where a pole flips end to end. I can hear it with doors and windows closed.
But it's constant and it's driving me mad and I can't even work out what it is, let alone where it's coming from!!
