Yodel- Can I refuse delivery?

I ordered some kettlebells from Very totalling 20kg.

Ive decided to join the gym rather than work out at home.

The kettlebells are due to be delivered tonight.

Thing is, I don't drive so I'm going to have real trouble carrying 20kg+ weights to the post office 😂. Would they even accept them?

Or would I need to sort a courier collection?
Just seems like a massive waste of time.

Can I juse refuse delivery so they are returned to very?

Not sure for how long they'll keep it, I couldn't collect one of my parcels, they put it in their warehouse for me to pick up. So you may end up with that item sitting in their warehouse for a while before you get your money back! A bit risky.

If I don't answer they'll just reschedule.

Amazon have told me to do this before but I don't know about Yodel.

If he leaves a contact card with his number or texts you to let you know a time slot, tell him to return to sender.

yes they attempt twice, then they take it to the warehouse.
Maybe refusing it is the best course of action
