Hi

Please help!

I work for a big educational establishment for nearly 8 years.

At the beginning of 2019 one of the managers from a different team asked me to report to him direct and no explanation given. He was a great guy but sadly left. The manager who I previously used to report in my old team did not get along with me, incompotent and it was widely acknowledged that neither of us get along and even my old manager knows this and a main reason why he removed me from that team and asked me to work with him.

My job description has not changed for the last 8 years.

Her boss recently met up with me and has tole me to that I am now back in the old team. Although, he is saying like any "new personnel" joining the team it is standard to review job descriptions - although I am not clear if he is planning to change job description.

Me and him have never worked together and he claims that he knows of the problems in the past.

Can he change my job description?
What are my rights? Can I refuse to amend any wording unless it applies to all in the team who are either doing the same role or in similar roles?
