Just received my statement for the year for gas and electricity with bulb

How does this compare with others?

3 bed. 2 children, 1 adult
We do not hold back from cranking up heating in winter and fairly regularly use a tumble dryer

Averages out combined at £108 a month

4 bed detached, 2a & 2c. Largely out for most of the day during the week (mostly school hours).

We are liberal with our heating and electricity and use the heated airier and tumble drier over the winter without second thought.

We pay £115 a month but we make circa £700p/a from our solar panels. We had a new boiler fitted halfway through the winter and that brought it down by about £15pcm.

I've just reduced my dd (with bulb) to £76 pm as I am around £200 in credit. 3 bed end terrace 1A 2C.
I think it will be less than that eventually though.
We are out of the house 7:30-6 M-F though.

We were the same as you, except our boiler was EXTREMELY old. We were paying £99 a month DD and by the time we moved in May we had a £200 credit built up.

3bed end townhouse, 2adults 3 kids. tumble dryer on at least 5 times a week pretty much year round, more lights on than blackpool illuminations and lots of appliances especially kettle on through out the day.
prepayment with utilita, spend around £450 a year on gas, 800 on electric but im happy with that as i know how we do use electric

4 bed detached, currently paying about £120 a month, but about £200 in credit just now and have just reduced payment s. Since we got a new gas boiler or gas use has halved.

I wish mine was as low as most on here.

Large 4 bed detached. Two adults, now DS has finished uni it will be three.

All of us at home most of the time. Tumble dryer used only if necessary.

New boiler installed last winter.

Have been paying £240 pm dual fuel with EON. Just changed over to Orbit so will see if its any cheaper. I hope so as I'm doing all I can to keep it down.

Paying £145 a month for both had 20 year old boiler replaced in April , seems this has saved a few people money so I'm hopeful ours will go down now.

3 adults, 2 kids paying £135 a month with Avro, that covers it plus gets me a couple of hundred ahead over the year.

House is a large 4/5 bed detached, washing machine on most days plus I groom dogs from home so use the electric shower and hairdryers a lot.

I switched from Scottish Power 18 months ago and saved almost £900 per year!
