How much do you pay with BT

Per month?
We're paying 68 for broadband alone. That can't be right surely?

I pay 60 for BT, TV (including kids channels and MTV etc) and phoneline. Do you call them when you have renewal to negotiate? They always do me a new offer when my contract comes to an end.

£36 broadband and phone

That sounds crazy. We have Plusnet. Unlimited broadband, landline and a call package that means I can call my home country very cheaply cost me £39. No TV package though. Happy with Freeview and Netflix.

skippy67 · 10/09/2019 20:54

£56 phone, broadband, and tv, including the sports channels. I was paying £82 until recently. I called them saying I wanted to leave, they quickly offered me a cheaper deal.

missbattenburg · 10/09/2019 20:55

£37 for fast broadband and phone line.

frippit · 10/09/2019 20:59

£27.99 per month broadband and a landline. We haven't got the fastest broadband but it suits us.

I've just logged in to check. My monthly price on my account is £38. Yet I am billed £68. I asked on the live chat and the man said I am £78 in credit (which he didn't offer to refund but that's another story) and my payments should be £41 per month.

So if I have been paying £68 for 11 months and I should have only paid £41, how can I only be £78 in credit? So confused

I only pay what the new customer price is. Every 18/24 months we have a chat, where I point out what price their competitors are priced at, and they eventually sort it as the same. One time I somehow convinced them to do it for £10 per month all in for 12 months. Happy days.

Currently 30£ per month unlimited super fast broadband, line rental and weekend calls. Think I pay a couple £ for unlimited calls on top.

DinosApple · 11/09/2019 07:43

Blimey I need to have a chat with them.

Yes, they take £70 a month for superfast broadband, line rental and an anytime (UK only) call package, no TV package though.

But I'm in credit by £90 so need to get it adjusted. The bill always says you're in credit, don't worry you don't need to do anything we'll keep taking this amount... Cheeky fuckers.

£28.99 for phone and broadband.
But we switch provider regularly, every time the contract ends just like insurance.
Prior to BT we were with Sky, but we switch to whoever has the best deal plus cashback.
We got £100 back when we switched to BT this time so the annual cost is actually only about £20 a month.
