Having a really crap time all round at the moment, largely due to work so have taken a day off today. I’m so anxious though that I don’t know what to do with myself Confused. Please give me some suggestions for a nice, wellbeing day Smile

Get up, go for a really long walk somewhere nice, come home via shops with a nice treat for lunch then spend the afternoon on the sofa watching a good film. Always works for me.

That sounds great. I’m not up yet - struggling to motivate but I might follow your suggestions like a checklist. Thank you Smile

Ahh, I’m glad you’ve got a day off, I suffer from anxiety too so know how you feel.

Go for a nice brisk walk- fresh air and getting the heart pumping always helps me.

See a friend for a coffee or go on your own, have coffee and cake.

Do some baking or make something really nice for lunch.

Hope you have a lovely day.

As well as that I would try to tick one small annoying thing off the to-do list - like; read the meters, or post that form, or bank that cheque, or send back that dress that didn't fit (all things I currently need to do) as these can take up a bit of room in your head without you realising.

And I'd make a big pot of something and portion it out for the freezer, dhal or chili or something, do next time you are low you don't need to worry about dinner. Plus, feeding yourself is very good self care.

Have a nice day!

Anxiety and low moods are so crap Angry. Energy sapping and leaving me struggling to make the simplest of decisions ffs. Lovely MNers, I have written down your tips for my day, thanks.
