Amazon query - Seller refusing refund - stock photo VERY misleading - Huge furniture company - Advice please!

Hi everyone, quick query really and was wondering if anyone has had any experience and can help me out a bit. I purchased some furniture online from Amazon from a furniture company, not sold by Amazon itself, and what I have received looks a totally different colour from their stock photo advertised. What I have received is a lot darker than their photos.
Do I have a chance of any kind of refund here? They don't seem keen so it's looking like I'm going to have to file a claim with Amazon and get them involved. On their listing it does state colour may vary due to lighting, but the colour I have received takes the piss really! Looks nothing like it.

Thanks

Sorry about the unfinished title, I didn't realise it wouldn't all show Blush

I’m pretty sure you’re covered under distance selling regs.

Hope so. I've spent just over £500. 2 different sellers, both are fighting me!

Get Amazon involved - send all your evidence to them, including pictures

Check out the Amazon returns t&cs. I'm pretty sure they have to take it back. Be quick though, sometimes they catch you out if left too long. Can't be arsed to Google the law though but I'm sure you'll be able to start a dispute through Amazon.

Just received the stuff this morning. I've already attached photos as evidence. One is trying to ring me but I've said I wish to keep interaction via Amazon messages only

The consumer contracts regulation have now replaced the distance selling regulations but if you just open an Amazon A-Z claim then you will be able to get a resolution within 3 days. This will force your seller to act and hopefully do something to help you! Best of luck and hope you manage to get it sorted

Thank you all. We left it at a partial refund, but can keep the item.
