Playing cards: which brand is the best value ?

Whenever I've bought playing cards I've usually bought Waddington's No.1 or whatever cheap pack I've seen in the shop. However, I've now come across slightly more expensive brands like Bicycle and Piatnik. Are these worth the extra money ? I'm not a serious card player but I do like Patience/Solitaire games. Thankyou.

As a leftie, I hate the 2-pip cards. Waddingtons every time.
