I'm nominally low carb but got some bagels yesterday as DD loves them.
I have just eaten half a toasted one with ham but it tasted a bit like sorrow in a bun.
I have rubbish ones that need to be toasted, fresh would be different so need some ideas to jazz them up a bit.
Used to work a lot in NY so have had some amazing ones, but old (boring) favourites using ingredients I have: (too lazy to make just now to my regreat, hence this thread)
Ham, tomato and cucumber with English mustard and mayo
Roast chicken and sweet corn mayo
Soft cheese and crispy bacon
Other ingredients are available - inspire me to make that second bagel half count!
