How to combat stiffness?

I'm in my late 40s & in the beginnings of menopause with hot flushes etc and I'm getting really stiff. If I stand up, having been sitting for a while, it takes me some moments to be able to stand fully straight. I feel it all over my body, like my insides have turned to quick-setting concrete! It even hurts & takes some moments/minutes to be able to fully stand on my feet without them hurting. Has anyone else had this? What did you do about it?

Gentle exercise such as yoga, swimming and probably sports massage would help too.

I'm exactly the same op.

Me too. I’ve also been fairly stiff but I’m worse now I’m 50 and very overweight.
Driving more than an hour or so is the worst for me these days - I hobble out of the car like an old woman.
And cutting my toe nails requires the skills of a contortionist.
Just don’t go into the office like I did and brightly ask your (mainly male) colleagues “is anyone stiff when they wake up in a morning?” Blush

Vitamin D. It has to be the high dose one.

Yoga and or Tai Chi.

Both help with other Menopause symptoms. As well as other issues with aging

Turmeric with black pepper [and ginger]...high dose. Good results here.
